How we make a guide useful
Editorial Guidelines
GridReady’s editorial standards are designed to make practical power guidance clear, source-aware and honest about uncertainty.
Customer problem first
Each guide starts with the reader’s immediate question and a short answer. We then explain the relevant limit, provide a safe next step and link to the next question rather than forcing a product decision.
Evidence and sourcing
For a model-specific setting, warning or reset path, we prioritize that model’s manual and official support material. For general energy, appliance-use and outage context, we prioritize public agencies and standards-oriented resources. Sources are linked near the end of a guide. We do not present a general estimate as a guarantee.
Experience and expertise
We aim to be precise about what the editorial desk can verify. When a guide needs a credentialed trade professional, a regional rule or a hands-on test, we state that boundary and seek an appropriate source before publishing. We do not invent expert biographies, test results or product ownership.
Updates and corrections
Guides display an editorial review date. We update a page when a source, manual, safety limit or material recommendation changes. Corrections are accepted through our contact page and are evaluated against primary evidence.
Commercial independence
Future ads or affiliate placements will be visually separate from editorial content. Sponsorship does not purchase a favorable conclusion. We reserve ad height to reduce layout shift and do not place ads inside a safety procedure, Quick Answer or table of contents.
